If someone asked me to check out a Deathcore song the average length of an entire Slam album, I'd have laughed in their face. Now I'm laughing at my lack of faith. While Lore of Lies shows its age, it's still a proper deathcore album with complex riffage and savage breakdown rhythms; the pervasive symphonics construct an eerie atmosphere the brutality is quite at home in. Literally one of the best deathcore albums of all time. Perfect mix of melody and brutality. It's really difficult to choose a favorite track here, with the neoclassical melodies through out. But I'm a slam guy, so The Forsaken Effigy was an instant favorite. king_ov_galeria
