When the moon rises and we cease to exist in this unholy heaven.
It grows and it grows. How can I stop this foolish feeling?
Until the sun falls from the sky and heaven burns in conflagration,
Can I see the light glowing through these creeks of fulfillness?
Would you live, If I didn’t break through these walls of forgiveness?
Would you live, if I didn’t cut through the silence and repression?
I’m still unworthy of a cleansed soul.
I’m still unsure if I’m safe from myself.
I’m still unworthy of a cleansed soul.
I’m still a victim of my own hell.
I can feel the ashes, they burn, they burn, these ashes burn my soul.
Until the sun falls from the sky and heaven burns in conflagration,
Can I see the light glowing through these creeks of fulfillness? No.
I’m still unworthy of a cleansed soul.
My sins will burn this world whole.
They burn, they burn, they burn
The ashes burn my soul
Would you live, If I didn’t break through these walls of forgiveness?
Would you live, if I didn’t cut through the silence and repression?
I’m still unworthy of a cleansed soul.
I’m still unsure if I’m safe from myself.
I’m still unworthy of a cleansed soul.
I’m still a victim of my own hell.

Before Ashen, I thought they were overrated. Deathcore bands seem to have a capacity to evolve quickly. I’ve seen quite a few bands in this genre grow exponentially from one album to the next, and Ashen is a particularly strong example. Metallurgical Fire
First WTF was google music actually throwing something good into my feed.
Second WTF was everything every goddamn member of this band does. This and the previous album have been on repeat for weeks. All other music tastes like diet water. Help. Gruso
Archspire is wholly unique for their ability to write music that is this insanely technical, but also actually catchy and memorable. Absolutely one-of-a-kind band. Kadin Wisniewski
Midwestern prog-metal stalwarts go for the throat on their new EP, featuring a roiling cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' “1979.” Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2019
I am more a melodeath guy than deathcore, but I enjoy all the symphonic elements or rythym changes. This album is a BLAST omg my neck hurt, so much headbang🤘🤘 olive855
