about
A long awaited new release that we’re excited to announce. This track represents a more mature composition from all of us but still maintaining our "mojo". The track itself is about negativity and how it affects the world. Hypothetically speaking it’s about negativity incarnating as a person and how that person’s sacrifice would give humanity a new chance at happiness. Nelson took a very personal approach in the lyrical content as always, making sure his deepest feelings were put into the track.
lyrics
A victim that rises from his inner peace to encounter the world around
The strength that slowly sails away
A life so foul, destroyer of it all
Enslaved beneath the truth. A cage of innocence
Twenty six feet deep into despair
Conquering the world by myself
A life so foul, destroyer of it all
A selfish urge to survive. I’m no longer myself
Wounded
A visitor in my own mind
The agony of the blind that walk the earth
Rarely seen but deeply felt
Yet no one hears my deepest yell: “Follow me to Hell”
I’m no longer human. Follow me to hell
A pitch black world of nothingness
Drags all my sins. Unveils the blame
No more excuses. No more pain
No more hiding, the devil fears my name
Wounded
A visitor in my own mind
The agony of the blind that walk the earth
Rarely seen but deeply felt
Yet no one hears my deepest yell: Follow me to hell

I rarely like deathcore, but this is that case. Progressive, ultra technical deathcore / death metal with some cosmic/industrial vibes and jazzy soft parts. FFO: Atrophia Red Sun, Beast of Nod, Symbyosis, Flub Dmitry Nevozhay

Archspire is wholly unique for their ability to write music that is this insanely technical, but also actually catchy and memorable. Absolutely one-of-a-kind band. Kadin Wisniewski
Midwestern prog-metal stalwarts go for the throat on their new EP, featuring a roiling cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' “1979.” Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2019

First WTF was google music actually throwing something good into my feed.
Second WTF was everything every goddamn member of this band does. This and the previous album have been on repeat for weeks. All other music tastes like diet water. Help. Gruso
